While visiting family in the area I met up with daughter and son in-law for lunch. We were seated right away at a table outside. The atmosphere was pleasant and temperature more to my liking. Not a fan of air conditioned dark rooms. The wait staff were friendly, took our orders promptly and our meals arrived quickly. I ordered the shrimp tacos, it was okay, could have used more seasoning. I was pleased that they came with black beans and a different take on rice. Everyone else was satisfied, although not overwhelmed. That being said everything else was good.

Fantastic service, and our food came out within 15 minutes. The waitress surprised my sister with a happy birthday song and ice cream. Thank you for being the party of her day!

This 5 star goes to the Guava Paloma Mocktail--- I could have had 5 of these babies. It was SO refreshing and SO flavorful. Not too sweet which I appreciated. Pro tip- ask for a tajin rim instead of sugar! Also has the Oaxaca quesadilla. As someone who just came back from Oaxaca and had plenty of quesadillas there, I would say this one did taste different. Best part was the tortilla! So good! I could have ate it plain! I came on a Friday night around 8:30 and stayed until close and it was surprisingly not busy! Super friendly servers and very observant!

My wife and I love this place. The employees are all fantastic. They are welcoming and friendly. We like to share a pitcher of house margaritas. It is such a great value. I normally drink a larger share because my wife is a great designated driver. The enchilada plate is my go to. I love all varieties, but the roja is my favorite. The rice and beans and really good as well. The chips and salsa come with a bean purée that is damn good. Insider tip.., ask for the habanero sauce.

We came here to celebrate a birthday lunch. It was a tasty & pleasant time. It did start with a weird hiccup. I waited by the host stand & when a man finally came, it was kind of awkward as I waited to be greeted & he just looked at me waiting to see what I wanted. We chose to sit outside. Our server, as well as other staff, were attentive with giving us refills of water & salsa, & checking in to make sure we were having a good experience. Our eats were yummy & filling! The complimentary chips are abundant, the salsa & bean dip are so good. Cochinita Pibil with only rice & no beans, house blend tortillas--it was sweet, tender, unctuous meat with pickled onions. The tortillas had a different kind of textural chew. Chile relleno--a big pepper with a thin crust that didn't coat it completely (vs a battered version), lots of gooey cheese that oozed out, tender pork pieces were mostly towards the stem end, tasty slaw was on top with salty cheese. It had great textures, was quite delicious, & had ample tomato sauciness. The rice & beans are great accompaniments. Birthday festivity comprised of 3 staff members singing. They presented a complimentary Churros dessert with a big sparkler, which was fantastic. The churros were filled with cream, & the vanilla ice cream had dulce de leche & chocolate sauces. It was delicious & would be worth ordering the next time we come.

Been here over a dozen times, ambience is amazing. Food is even better. It took me a while to write this review. I was kind of in the back of my mind looking for something wrong. Well to my delight this place is just amazing. Five stars all around Jessica was our server tonight and she is just frankly a special person. She was very attentive to my daughter and wife's needs. She made sure to ask about the little things. Once again, thank you Jessica for your great service. How do you recommend the Baja fish tacos and if you're over 21 and filling a little frisky, I recommend the blackberry margarita.

I love eating outside on a patio when the weather is nice. Zocalo has a lovely patio. We stopped by for lunch and had the nicest server. He instantly set my daughter up with crayons and a coloring menu and my husband and I with our blackberry margaritas, which might be half the reason we stopped by! The food was great. I love the cochinita pibil. The fish tacos were also really great. My daughter was delighted that the kids meal came with a mini churro and ice cream dessert. It was a lovely was to spend the afternoon and we strolled through the mall afterwards to digest.

Stop in when I was craving some good margaritas and tacos. They did not disappoint! We started with jalapeño margaritas and chips and guacamole and salsa. Their black bean salsa/dip is AMAZING! Sean made sure our chips/salsa was delivered quick and our glasses did not get too empty before offering refills. He was so personable and efficient! I had the carnitas tacos with rice and beans. Hubs had the carnitas plate and said best he's ever had! It had a cinnamon and orange flavor. Delish! No complaints on the tacos either. We sat outside and it was a rainy/chilly night but the heaters had the patio heated nicely.

Had a girls night out for a dinner midweek. We made reservations but it was not super busy when we arrived. However the later it got the more the tables filled up. Service and food was great. We tried a cocktail and wine in addition to the food. It is the holiday season so they had super cute holiday decor up. Had the fish tacos which are a favorite! My friends had the burrito bowls which they loved. Food is always flavorful and fresh!
